My First Pigtails and Playtime with Friends

I picked Saylor up the other day from Giggle's (her babysitter) and she had the cutest pigtails. I must confess I'm not very good at doing hair but Saylor doesn't give me a fighting chance. Every time I try to do her hair she fights me and swats at my hand. I know this is just the beginning of Mother Daughter fights but I hope she gets over it fast and starts to let me do her hair. But, for now I will be thankful for those who can do Saylor's hair.

Spring is in the Air

Spring is in the air and we have been having a great time for the past few days. Our weekend began by taking a trip to visit the Clydesdale horses and playing at the park. 

Yes that is a pouty face but I don't remember why.

Saturday, Saylor and I went to the Jacksonville zoo with our good friends Mrs. Joyce, Mr. Bryan, Leona and Saylor. We had a great time and I plan to share more pictures of our trip.  Daddy didn't go with us because he was coaching volleyball in Augusta. 

The last few days we have played at the park and have had a great time I hate that it is going to get cold for the next few days.

I Love You A Bushel and a Peck

I have a very sweet video to show of my sweet baby girl singing to me. She has started singing so many songs recently and I love it. Some of her favorites are The Wheels on the Bus, Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, Happy Birthday, and Shoo Fly Shoo. I always sing I Love You a Bushel and a Peck to her and she has started singing it to me and it makes my heart smile. I'm sorry you have to listen to me at the beginning of this video but I promise the end makes it worth it.

 Stone gave Saylor is old robe the other night and she loved wearing it.

Sick Little Bug

Well I have to say that I hate for my little girl to be sick but I do love getting to spend the days with her. Saylor tried to beat a cold for 10 days but on the 11th day it turned for the worse and she started getting a fever. It was then I knew she had a sinus infection and needed an antibiotic. These last two day she has had the dreaded runny nose and cough and has just felt miserable but I'm hoping she is coming out of it. 

 Today at lunch time she was so sweet and was giving her bear her juice.

This is my sweet girl wearing my shoes. She loves to put everyone's shoes on and one of her favorite pastimes is sitting in her closet changing her shoes over and over.
